Brief Summary
From November 2007 to February 2010, Scott worked part-time at VCNW as the KidzJam Director which served children in the first through fourth grade. Scott moved from part-time to full time in February 2010 into the role of the Pastor of Family Ministries. Scott has held a variety of leadership positions in different ministries and programs serving children and families. He is a Licensed Social Worker and has a Master’s Degree in Family and Child Studies from Miami University. Scott is married to Renee and they have three beautiful daughters. In his role as Pastor of Family Ministries, Scott strives to:
Support the development of secure and stable homes that serve as a foundation for serving God and to partner with families to support the spiritual development of their children.
Educate and equip engaged couples in developing a healthy relationship centered on God and His plan for marriage.
Support the development of healthy and strong marriages dedicated to God.
Equip and support parents (single, married, and blended) in utilizing loving and effective parenting practices that lead children to faith in Jesus Christ.
Empower grandparents and other adults to come along side and support families, parents, and children.
Provide systems of support for marriages and families experiencing deep struggles.
Facilitate restoration, hope, and healing for those who are experiencing brokenness and pain.
